What We Do &
Why It Matters

Every service explained in plain English — what it actually does, why your car needs it, and what makes each one different.

No Jargon | Plain English | Real Answers

Outside The Car

Exterior Services

What we do to the paint, wheels, glass, and trim on the outside of your vehicle.

Hand Wash & Dry

The foundation of every detail

Every detail starts here. We use quality car-specific soap, a clean microfiber wash mitt, and multiple rinse buckets to avoid dragging grit across your paint. After washing, we hand-dry with plush microfiber towels to prevent water spots.

Why not just use a drive-through car wash? Automated car washes use stiff brushes that leave micro-scratches (called swirl marks) in your clear coat. They also can't clean wheel barrels, door jambs, or tight body gaps. Hand washing protects your paint and actually cleans the whole car.

Wheel & Tire Detailing

More than it looks

Wheels collect brake dust — tiny iron particles thrown off your brake rotors at high temperature. This dust embeds into wheel finishes and is one of the most corrosive substances your car encounters. We use dedicated wheel cleaners and brushes designed to get into the spokes, barrel, and lug nut holes without scratching the finish.

The iron problem: Brake dust chemically bonds to wheel surfaces and, if left long enough, permanently etches into the finish. It looks like "dirty wheels" but it's actually corrosion in progress. Regular wheel cleaning is the single best thing you can do to preserve wheel appearance.

Tire Dressing

UV protection + a great look

Tire rubber degrades from two main enemies: UV rays from the sun and ozone in the atmosphere. Both cause tires to brown, dry out, and eventually crack (a process called "dry rot"). A quality tire dressing creates a barrier against UV and ozone while restoring that deep, rich black color.

Not just cosmetic: Tire sidewall cracking isn't just ugly — it compromises structural integrity over time. Regular dressing extends the life of your tires, not just their looks.

Door Jamb Cleaning

The most overlooked area

The door jambs are the painted surfaces, rubber seals, and metal edges you see when a door is open. Every time you open a door, dirt from the road transfers in here. They collect road film, splashed mud, and moisture — and most car washes completely ignore them.

Why it matters: Dirty jambs are a giveaway that a car hasn't been properly detailed. They also trap moisture against bare metal and rubber seals, accelerating rust and seal deterioration. Clean jambs = well-maintained car.

Trim & Plastic Dressing

Fights the grey fade

The black plastic trim on bumpers, mirror housings, and body cladding fades to a chalky grey from UV exposure over time. A trim dressing penetrates the surface and restores the deep, original black color while providing a UV barrier to slow future fading.

Dressing vs. Restoration: Dressing (included in Exterior Reset & Premium Detail) is a conditioner for trim that isn't severely faded. Restoration (add-on) uses a more aggressive product that revives heavily oxidized, chalky trim — often with dramatic results on neglected vehicles.

Gas Cap Area Cleaning

Small detail, big difference

The fuel filler area accumulates dried fuel drips, rubber dust from the cap gasket, road grime, and staining. It's a tight recess that never gets cleaned in a regular car wash. Left uncleaned, dried fuel can permanently stain the painted surface inside the fuel door and the surrounding body panels.

Easy to miss, easy to fix: This area is a common detail shop "tell" — it reveals whether a car has ever been truly detailed versus just washed. It's one of the first places we check.

Chrome & Exhaust Tip Polishing

Restore the shine, not just the shine

Exhaust tips accumulate carbon buildup, heat discoloration (blue/brown tinting from extreme temps), and water spots that regular washing can't remove. Polishing uses metal polish compound to cut through oxidation and carbon deposits, restoring a mirror-bright finish. The same applies to chrome trim pieces that develop surface oxidation over time.

Results: On a neglected exhaust tip, the difference is dramatic — from black carbon crust to a reflective, like-new finish. Available as an add-on to any package — one of the most visually impressive parts of a full detail.

Inside The Car

Interior Services

Everything we do to the cabin — surfaces, fabrics, glass, and the air itself.

Compressed Air Interior Blowout

First step before any cleaning

Compressed air is blasted through every vent, speaker grille, seam, button gap, and crevice in the interior before any vacuuming or wiping begins. This dislodges dust, crumbs, and debris from places no vacuum attachment can reach. Without this step, embedded debris gets pushed further in during cleaning.

Vents matter most: Your car's climate system circulates air through the cabin constantly. Dusty vents mean you're breathing that dust every time you run the A/C or heat. A blowout clears the vents and dramatically improves in-car air quality.

Crevice Cleaning

Where all the gross stuff hides

Crevices — the gaps between the center console and seats, around buttons, in door panel seams, along the base of the dashboard — are the most overlooked areas in a basic clean. We use detail brushes and crevice tools to extract the compacted debris, crumbs, hair, and gunk that accumulates in every vehicle over time.

The "how did that get in there" step: After a thorough crevice clean on a neglected vehicle, the amount of debris that comes out is genuinely surprising. It's one of the biggest differences between a quick clean and a real detail.

Shampoo / Hot Water Extraction

The deep clean your carpet actually needs

Hot water extraction (also called steam extraction) is the professional standard for deep carpet and upholstery cleaning. A machine injects heated cleaning solution deep into the carpet fibers under pressure, then immediately vacuums it back out — bringing dissolved dirt, oils, allergens, and staining material with it. It's the same principle as a carpet cleaner for your home, but with professional-grade heat and suction.

vs. regular vacuuming: Vacuuming removes surface debris. Extraction removes what's embedded in the fibers — years of skin cells, food oils, spilled liquids, and tracked-in soil that have worked their way deep into the carpet backing.
Dry time: Carpets will be slightly damp after extraction and need 2–4 hours to fully dry with windows down or climate running. Perfectly normal and worth it — results are dramatically different.

Leather Cleaning & Conditioning

Contact for quote · Available as add-on · Included in Elite Detail & Elite Signature Detail · Leather is skin. Treat it like skin.

Leather is a natural material that needs ongoing care. Body oils, sweat, denim dye, and UV exposure break down the surface coating and dry out the underlying leather over time. We use pH-balanced leather cleaners to safely remove contaminants, then apply a leather conditioner that moisturizes the fibers and prevents cracking, fading, and stiffening.

Neglected leather cracks: Once leather cracks, it can't be fully repaired — only disguised. Conditioning every 3–6 months keeps leather supple and prevents the irreversible damage that happens when it dries out.

Plastics & Vinyl UV Protection

$29+ · Add-On Service · Your dashboard's sunscreen

Interior plastics — your dashboard, door panels, and center console — receive intense UV through the windshield and windows. UV radiation breaks down the polymers in plastic, causing fading, hardening, and eventually cracking (that chalky, dried-out dashboard look). A UV-inhibiting protectant applied after cleaning provides a barrier that slows this degradation.

Resale value impact: A cracked or faded dashboard can significantly reduce a vehicle's trade-in or resale value. UV protection is one of the cheapest, highest-ROI things you can do for your interior.

Odor Neutralizer Treatment

Destroys odors, doesn't mask them

Included in the Interior Reset package. A professional-grade odor neutralizer (not an air freshener) is applied to fabric surfaces and circulated through the vents. It works by chemically breaking down the odor-causing molecules at the source rather than adding a fragrance on top. Most effective after a thorough interior clean that removes the source of the odor.

Air fresheners vs. neutralizers: An air freshener adds a pleasant smell on top of an unpleasant one. An odor neutralizer eliminates the unpleasant smell at the molecular level. For persistent odors (cigarette smoke, gym bags, food), only neutralization actually works.

Keep It Protected

Paint Protection

What the different protection options actually do — and how they differ from each other.

Ceramic Wax Protection

2-4 Month or 9+ Month · Available as add-on · Included in Elite Detail & the Exterior Enhancement Package · Elite Signature Detail includes a 12-month ceramic sealant

A ceramic-infused wax applied over clean paint. It creates a strong hydrophobic (water-repelling) coating that causes water to bead up and roll off rather than sheet across the paint. This makes the car easier to clean, gives paint a deeper gloss, and provides a sacrificial layer that takes the hit from environmental fallout before it reaches your clear coat. We offer two tiers: a 2-4 month spray-on ceramic wax, and a longer-lasting 9+ month ceramic sealant for protection that holds up far longer between applications.

Pricing: Both tiers are priced by quote since the right option and prep depend on your paint's size and condition — just ask and we'll give you an exact price. What it protects against: Light contaminants, minor water spotting, UV degradation, and road film. Not a permanent ceramic coating — more like a renewable shield that's easily maintained and re-applied.
Clay Bar required first: Ceramic Wax Protection must be preceded by Clay Bar Decontamination. Applying wax over contaminated paint prevents proper bonding — the clay bar removes embedded iron and surface contaminants so the wax can bond directly to clean clear coat.

Paint Correction

New Service · Contact for Quote

Machine polishing that physically removes defects from your clear coat instead of hiding them — swirl marks, light scratches, water-spot etching, oxidation, and holograms from previous bad buffing. Using a dual-action polisher and measured stages of compound and polish, we level the clear coat until the paint reflects like glass. This is the difference between a car that looks clean and a car that looks new.

Pricing: By quote — the right number of stages depends on your paint's color, hardness, and condition, so we assess first and give you an exact price. Best paired with: Ceramic Coating or Ceramic Wax Protection, so the freshly corrected finish stays protected.

Ceramic Coating

New Service · Contact for Quote

A professional-grade liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your clear coat and cures into a hard, glass-like layer — the longest-lasting protection we offer. Years of protection rather than months: extreme water beading, easier washes, resistance to UV fading, chemical etching, and road grime, plus a depth of gloss that wax simply can't match. This is the top tier of paint protection, above our 2-4 month and 9+ month ceramic wax options.

Pricing: By quote — coating packages vary by vehicle size, paint condition, and the coverage you want (paint only, or wheels, trim & glass too). Prep matters: proper decontamination and paint correction beforehand are what make a coating last, so we'll walk you through exactly what your paint needs.
Correction recommended first: A ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath it — including swirls and scratches. Pairing it with Paint Correction means you're sealing in a flawless finish, not defects.

Specialty Services

Add-On Services

These are the services that make the biggest visible difference on vehicles that actually need them.

Engine Bay Detail

Contact for quote · More than cosmetic

The engine bay accumulates oil residue, brake dust, road grime, and grease. We protect sensitive electronics (ECU, fuse boxes, sensors) before washing, then apply diluted degreaser, agitate with brushes, and rinse carefully with low pressure. After drying, plastic covers, hoses, and rubber are dressed for UV protection and a clean, finished appearance.

Practical benefit: A clean engine bay makes it dramatically easier to spot oil leaks, coolant drips, and worn belts during routine checks. Mechanics also appreciate it — they're more thorough when they can actually see what they're working on.

Black Trim Restoration

Contact for Quote · Brings faded trim back to life

Exterior plastic trim — bumpers, door cladding, mirror caps, and fender flares — fades to a chalky gray over time as UV exposure breaks down the surface. A quick wipe-down won't bring it back. Black trim restoration deep-cleans and decontaminates the plastic, then applies a dedicated trim restorer/coating that penetrates the surface to restore a rich, factory-deep black finish and protect it from re-fading. It's one of the highest-impact, lowest-cost ways to make an older vehicle look years newer.

Why pricing varies: A few faded pieces is quick work; a vehicle with heavily oxidized cladding all the way around takes more prep and product — so we quote it after seeing the condition.
Best combo: Pair it with the Exterior Reset or Premium Detail so the freshly restored trim sits against clean, glossy paint for the biggest before-and-after difference.

Light / Heavy Stain Treatment

$25+ · Results vary by stain type & age

Different stains require different chemistry: enzymatic cleaners for biological stains (food, drink, body fluids), solvents for oil and grease, oxidizing agents for certain dyes, and acidic or alkaline treatments for others. Professional stain treatment uses the right product for the right stain rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Honest expectation: Old, set stains — especially dye transfers (dark jeans on light fabric, ink) and heat-set stains — may not be fully removable. We'll always tell you honestly what's achievable before treating.

Soil & Sand Deep Extraction

$25+ · More abrasive than you think

Sand and heavy soil work deep into carpet fibers and are highly abrasive — every footstep grinds them further in, cutting carpet fibers and accelerating wear. Standard vacuuming removes surface sand but leaves the embedded particles. Deep extraction uses strong suction combined with agitation to pull sand and soil out of the fiber backing before it causes permanent carpet damage.

Common for: Beach vehicles, kids' sports transport, construction workers' trucks, and anyone who has tracked in significant dirt. The sooner it's extracted, the less wear it causes.
